What dance do we teach?

We teach a very simple and easy-to-learn type of partner dancing. It’s an up-to-date form of jive based loosely on what is sometimes known as "modern jive" At Alive4Jive, we like to add more than a little Latin style and rhythm to create what we feel is a unique twist to the modern jive taught elsewhere.

Two lessons for the price of one!
|
|
We run two fun classes each Tuesday night. The first one at 7.45pm is designed for relative newcomers to this style of dance. The lesson lasts for about 30 to 45 minutes and then we just play great music for about 30 minutes for people to practice what they have learnt.

|
We run a second more challenging class for experienced dancers at around 9.00pm for 30 to 40 minutes. We follow this with lots of your favourite music for everyone to dance to and have a fantastic night. All this for only £6 (or less)!

No dance partner? No problem!
|
|
You don’t need to bring a partner. There will be staff and lots of other dancers ready and willing to help you settle in and learn the basics.
